About Us
Performance Supply was founded by childhood teammates turned business partners, Jack Rubenstein and Cash Young.
Jack and Cash grew up in Atlanta, Georgia playing baseball together from a young age. Their paths eventually diverged, but the competition never stopped. Jack went on to play college baseball at Emory University before transferring to Georgia Tech, while Cash began his career at Georgia College & State University before transferring to Kennesaw State, becoming Division 1 rivals on the field before reconnecting off it.
After their playing careers, the two brought their firsthand athletic experience into the business world at SuckerPunch Pickles, where they helped create an entirely new channel for pickle juice hydration products in sports. What started as a niche performance product quickly scaled into deep relationships with over 250 major college and professional sports organizations, giving Jack and Cash a front-row seat to how teams actually source, evaluate, and use nutrition products.
Through years of working directly with sports dietitians, strength staffs, and trainers, they consistently heard the same frustrations: Managing too many vendors, too many invoices, and too much administrative friction.
At the same time, high-quality nutrition brands faced their own challenge: breaking into the sports ecosystem and scaling efficiently without the inside knowledge or relationships.
Performance Supply was created to bridge that gap.
The platform centralizes purchasing for sports organizations while giving vetted nutrition brands a trusted, scalable path into the performance space. By simplifying procurement, consolidating invoices, and leveraging deep relationships across collegiate and professional sports, Performance Supply removes friction on both sides of the market.
